Nails broke :( Tiger stripe time =P

After about 3 months, my nails finally decided to break =/ such a bummer. I've never had them that long before. So I cut them super short since I had to even it out with where it broke.
I thought this would be a great time to konad them so I get the most coverage, so I did tiger stripes!

EOTD For my date tonight :)

I'm about to go out on a date so I thought I would do my makeup and share it with the world =P This look is one of my favorite looks so it's about time I post it!

It's a champagney silver with dark purple in the crease. I like to finish it off with shadow liner and mascara of course!

I don't know what's going on with the the top left corner but it looked fine in the mirror o_O

My new Nyx Palette called Super Model. I use the black (top right) with an eyeliner brush on the bottom and top as liner.

Puppies and nail polish stash :D

I don't think I have made a post that showed my dogs yet so I thought I would introduce them to everyone!

This is Nala, the love of my life =D She is a german shepherd rhodesian ridgeback mix and is 4 years old!

A couple days ago, she started making noises like she was in pain. She either sprained or twisted her ankle the other day so we took her to the vet and they treated her. They gave her 2 shots and some medication so she came home all loopy and drowsy. This is her picture when she was drugged out lol. She is doing much better now =P

Anyways, I decided to clear out one of my drawers and fill it up with my nail polish stash. There's some China Glaze, OPI, Orly, Sally Hansen, Rimmel, Nubar, Nfu Oh, and many other brands! I have no idea how many are actually there... but whatever haha!

That puppy on the right is Daisy! She's a little over a year old and is a rhodesian ridgeback lab mix. She's the funniest dog ever and does the most awkward things sometimes.She's very vocal and makes a lot of creepy noises lol. I love her very much :D Here's my favorite picture of Daisy!

My new favorite lipstick!

Thanks to Wendi from MakeupZombie, I found my new favorite shade of pink lipstick called "Just So" by Rimmel! It looked so perfect with her complexion, which is similar to mine so I had to give this a try. The texture is really nice... smooth and creamy! I got it from target for around $5-6. If your skin/hair color is anything like mine. I totally recommend it.

Bring on the sunshine!

I don't know about you, but I am tired of this cold weather and would love some sunshine! I got bored of my green nails so I decided to do something fun and girly!

This is Revlon' Sublime Strawberry (2 coats) and Chine Glaze's White Cap (1 coat). It shines really nicely in the sun! White cap looks awesome layered over almost any color and it's fun to experiment with!

St. Patty's Day Look!

Whoooo today is St. Patty's day which means lots of green and drinking irish car bombs =P To celebrate, I did my nails and my makeup green!

I also did my makeup green! Sorry for the bad lighting. I did this at night =P

I used one of those single Cover Girl Eyeshadows in Lime green all over the lid (forgot the actual name, sorry!),

L'Oreal H.I.P. eyeshadow duo in Gunmetal. I used the dark green on the outer edge and in the crease. Then I used the brownish green color to extend the crease.

To blend the top part, I used Revlon ColorStay Mineral Finishing powder.

And for liner, I used Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquide Liner

To finish it off, I used my new Day 2 Night mascara!

Rimmel Glam Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara Review

Well here is my first mascara review! Last week, I picked up Rimmel Glam Eyes Day 2 Night since I've never tried it before and I liked the idea of having a day to night look. If you want a closeup, just click on the image.

Here is a picture of the mascara. I picked up the color "Extreme Black".

This shows how it works. If you want length, you just unscrew the pink one and if you want volume, just unscrew the pink one.

Right: lashes without any mascara. Left: lashes with lengthening mascara. I didn't curl my lashes. in any of these pics. I don't even own a lash curler ^^ I just have really long eyelashes =P Also, it looks like I put mascara on the bottom but that's just from eyeliner.

In general I like this mascara. The only problem I really had with it is that the volumizing mascara can get a little clumpy. I had to use a toothpick to separate a couple lashes, which isn't too big of a deal to me. Also, don't use the volumizing one on your bottom lashes. Just use the lengthening one and you're good to go!

Another good thing i that it doesn't leave all those little black flakies below your eyes! I wore it all day and it lasted just fine!

Would I buy this again and do I recommend it? Absolutely yes!! Has anyone else tried this mascara? Do you think you will try it?

OPI Tease-y Does it!

Sooo this is OPI Tease-y Does It from the Burlesque Collection. I've been wanting this color for the past month and finally found it in a store by my house for 5.99!

This color was sooo hard to capture! It's kinda a browned purple with reddish orange microglitter. It looks brown from far away but it's so interesting when you see it in the light.

The bottle makes it appear that it has a goldish duochrome to it but I didn't see that once I applied it. No big deal though! I love this color! It's definitely a favorite for me!

Another plus to this was that the application was pretty flawless. This is 2 coats! Nice? :)

Blue with stars!

I've been wanting to do this look for a while now and I finally got to it! I love the idea of blue with stars and I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

The star nail polish I used was a bit tricky. I had to "fish" for the stars and then place them where I wanted to. There were also bigger chunks of glitter that you can see on the image.

What did I use?

Blue- Eyes Like Sapphires by China Glaze

Glitter topcoat- Northern Lights Holographic Glitter Topcoat

Stars- Silver Star by KleanColor

I saw someone else try this color combo and I thought I would give it a try! The basecoat is two thick coats and I put one coat of shimmer over it. Both Pelican Grey and White Cap are from the Anchors Away collection by China Glaze.

Grey base- Pelican grey by China Glaze

This is very nice and shimmery in person! I didn't really like Pelican Grey by itself but it looks awesome with White Cap over it!

Milani Lip Flash: In A Flash

I finally decided to stop by CVS today and I picked up a new product by Milani called Lip Flash. It's like a glossy lipstick but in the form of a fat thing of lipliner.

 I picked up the color called In A Flash which is a deep hot pink with bluish purplish sparkles. It is definitely a HOT color. I probably wouldn't wear this out on my average day but I think it would look really cool at night with a dark smoky eye!

The pic below is a closeup of how it looks on my lips. Sorry about the pic to the left... Not the best one of me! But I wanted to show how it looks with my hair, eyes, and complexion.

Pretty hot color, yeah?
